Acrylic Pool Windows

It can be joined seamlessly to have long running lengths. See below a window of a project that our team did in Zanzibar at a resort. This window is 20 metres in length. 

Structurally acrylic bonds between panels are far superior to silicone bonds in glass. Once acrylic has been bonded, the bond is almost the same strength as the stock material. See below acrylic bond/join in the centre of the panel.

Acrylic bonds do not have a life span as it is basically like a moulded product. Once casted it is the same strength as a single structure.

At Pool Windows we can curve acrylic to any given radius in our factory. We can make concave or convex curves, or even multiple curves running in one panel. There is no limit on the length that we can manufacture. Our longest seamless length to date is 20 metres. 

Acrylic can be polished very easily if it picks up any scratches. The process of polishing scratches under water is also possible. The aquarium or pool does not need to be completely drained to perform this process.

High quality cast acrylic is 100% UV stable. See below picture of acrylic that was locally cast by a small business that thought it could replicate the intricate and detailed process of forming acrylic. This acrylic was in the sun for only 4 years. 

Acrylic has a much higher thermal insulation than glass (acrylic 0.19W/mK, laminated glass 0,79W/mK). For this reason, acrylics are far superior over glass on heated pools.
